Created by Tyler Liu - a VEX IQ robotics winner at age 14 who is also passionate about coding!

VEX IQ is a challenging robotics competition in which teams strive to achieve the highest points within a one-minute tournament. Recognizing the significant investment required to participate in VEX IQ robotics, I sought to provide an accessible solution. My aim was to address the barrier that cost creates for individuals eager to explore the realm of robotics.

As part of this endeavor, I developed a simulation that mirrors the experience of maneuvering a real-life robot. The simulation features a specific model of the VEX IQ robot, enabling users to practice moving risers into precise locations and configurations according to official VEX IQ scoring criteria.

Within this project, participants can operate the robot using a keyboard as they seek to accumulate points according to the standardized scoring system of the VEX IQ game. Engage in friendly competition with your peers as you strive to achieve the highest score through an automated scoring mechanism.
